Eastbound HWY 580 traffic can be very heavy, especially in the afternoon, so allow lots of time to get there.

You should check in person for your lost pet. If they’re at ECAS, they may be added to the TVAR Web site after their stray-hold is up (5 days). ... After they’re already available to the public for adoption.

If they don’t have your lost pet, you may want to check with other shelters that are closer, such as Hayward, Oakland or Fremont’s Tri-City Shelter (they have a contract for San Leandro animals), in case they were turned in there. ... Leave as much information as you can, with a pet photo if possible, and check back often!

FoFAS would like to invite you to our
"Beach Party Adopt-a-thon"!
Saturday, August 21 from 12 - 4 PM
2700 Fairmont Drive, San Leandro.

Our adoptable dogs will be hanging out catching some rays, and our cats and kittens will be available to meet in the volunteer "surf shack" office where you can enjoy some snacks and beverages.

We'd like to thank the community for making our last adopt-a-thon a great success and hope our Beach Party Adopt-a-thon will be just as successful. We will have special adoptions fees for this event of $100 for dogs and $50 for cats/kittens.

Information on FREE and low cost Spay/Neuter programs will also be available.

Mobile Rabbit Adoptions
Rabbits from the Hayward Animal Shelter, and Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary. 11 AM - 5 PM the first Saturday of every month. Located at the Dublin East Bay SPCA, 4651 Gleason Drive, Dublin, Ca. Call (925) 479-9670 for directions.

General Meeting
FoFAS holds a monthly General Meeting for our volunteers the fourth Tuesday of every month, except December. Meetings are held at the Fairmont Shelter at 7 PM. Visitors wanting to learn more about our group are welcome to attend.
